Suzie Pig-a-Dig is about to find out that life on her own is not all fun and games. And, if T.H.E. Wolf’s plan works out, with the help of the audience, of course, Suzie, Bobby, and Gracie’s houses will be blown down and pork will be on the menu.

Doing What’s Right Can Never Be Wrong

It’s Our Choice, How We Use Our Voice!
Hee and Haw Hare arrive home after school to discover one of them did not have a great day! Using interactive songs taught to them by their Maw, Hee and Haw share character-building life lessons with the audience. Hee learns she needs to listen more and Haw learns to be happy for someone even if she isn’t having her best day.

Community Development – Discover Who’s Living Under Your Roof

Award-winning author, Personality Expert, and Board Certified Life Coach, Linda Goldfarb, is here to help you and your community discover which personalities are living under their roof.

As the co-developer of the LINKED Quick Guide to Personalities Assessment, author of the LINKED Quick Guide to Personalities series, and a member of Storybook Theatre International, Linda will share the strengths, weaknesses, and emotional needs of each personality. Storybook Theatre characters are present for this presentation to help parents and their children easily recognize personality differences.

To bring personality differences to life, four characters from Storybook Theatre, Goldifox, Suzie Pig-a-Dig, Haw Hare, and Gracie Pig-a-Dig, interact with Linda making this program very effective in explaining the personalities to children and parents alike.

Parents will walk away with a better knowledge of who’s living under their roofs and ways they can encourage and equip their children while maximizing family communication.


Allie in History Land

Studying History will never be the same.
So, what exactly did the cockroach see while riding the bus with Rosa Parks? 4th and 5th-grade TEKS supporting content is presented in this original and hilarious play! Featuring historical stories: Cabeza de Vaca, George Washington Carver, and Rosa Parks.

History can be fun and memorable when you mix facts with a little humor!

The Country Mouse and The City Mouse

No Matter Where You Live—It Can Be Your Best Life

Cousin Ellie, the Country Mouse, is visited by her Cousin Ida Mae, the City Mouse. After a quick trip, she returns with Cousin Ida Mae to the city. Cousin Ida Mae finds life in the country a bit uncomfortable and the city life leaves Cousin Elli homesick.

Traveling on Planes or Through Books is a Great Adventure!

In this delightful story, students experience life in Japan, France, and Ecuador.  This tale revolves around Cousin Ida Mae, the city mouse who travels worldwide on planes, trains, and automobiles, while Cousin Elli Mae, the country mouse, travels around the world through books.

Drama and Creative Writing Workshops

Storybook Theatre of Texas offers creative writing workshops and drama workshops that complement their performances. Each workshop is 45 minutes in length.  Our “edutainers” work with small groups within the classroom using a fast-paced, graphic-filled lesson to show the prewriting process that accompanies any type of story – even the writing of plays for Storybook Theatre! Also available are drama workshops helping students explore some of the tools actors use. Let us custom design a workshop for you!
